Old Yeller OldYeller001 Old Yeller OldYeller002 Well no its not a radio thats for sure but it is kinda radio related.I traded the 2547 for it.Runs good, looks like sh&t and needs to either have tubes put in the tires or just replaced.By the end of summer it will look like new.Krylon Fusion makes a yellow perfect for redoing this bike, then order up some new stickers and a few other odds and ends.Just what I needed...another project lol! Haha yeah you gotta respect a three wheeler or it most definately will bite you in the a$$ I still think they are great fun and If you know how to ride them...every bit[well almost] as safe as a four wheeler. I grew up on these things man, these and dirt bikes. There at the time was no such thing as a four wheeler and hwen they started to make an appearance on the scene they were so much more expensive than a 3 wheeler. The average kid at least where I grew up didnt have the means to buy a four wheeler.Shawn

I have a serious character flaw! So I took all three tires and wheels off and took them to the Western Auto up in town.Having tubes put in the leaky tires cause they were still almost new tread wise.So here comes midnight and why Im still up is beyond me but I made the mistake of going out in the garage.Well now its 12.45 and Im taking a break and letting the paint fumes die down. Very Happy I decided while the wheels were off it would be a good time to rehab the spindles and hubs and forks so they are already done when the wheels go back on.One more thing out of the way.The rims will be painted before they go on and then next will be to remove all plastics and prep them for paint. While they are off and in between prep steps of the plastic the frame will be painted.Paint the plastics, throw the plastics back on and order up a set of original graphics, slap em on and she should be looking pretty darn sharp.Mind you this is not in any way going to be a "SHOW QUALITY" Restoration but thats not what Im after anyway.I just want it to look good.I mean it is an ATV and I plan to use it as one so to go all out high dollar you know...sandblasting and powdercoating stuff and all would be really stupid for my intended purpose. The most expensive part is going to be either the original graphics or the paint. The graphics are like $50.00 and Im not sure how much Sunburst Yellow Krylon Plastic Fusion paint Im going to go through so its hard to say.Allright let me get back to my midnight madness,BUMP BUMP,Shawn

Hahaha My wife thinks 3 wheelers should be outlawed cause "Their too Dangerous" I keep telling her ...only if you dont know how to ride them.Shes used to 4 wheelers where basically you get on,hit the gas and go.A 3 wheeler on the other hand must be "RIDDEN" and yes it takes a little finesse. Very Happy Shawn

Well the wheels are back on and she had her first test run today.Had it out probably about 40 minutes total and a mix of balls to the wall flat out field romping and slow crawling muddy trail riding. All in all not too bad, couple minor glitches like the brakes need adjusted or replaced and I think the chain needs tightened or replaced. When your in first and you really stand on it the chain slips a tooth or 2.Hey what do you expect from a 23 year old atv that you traded a cb radio for.Still and all great fun,I havent had a 3 wheeler or dirt bike in probably 20 years affraid Damn Im getting old Very Happy Shawn
